The
City of Melbourne says it has been blindsided by Heritage Victoria's
decision to reject a key part of the proposed $250 million redevelopment
of Queen Victoria Market. Under the plan the entire
market area would be revamped with a new pavilion, restored facilities
and more outdoor eating areas.
