One of our traders has raised
an interesting question about the Aboriginal burial zone in the top end of the
market.
Focus has been on a small
area at the Queen St end of E & F Sheds where a service was held recently
for the first aboriginals hanged in Victoria - Tunnerminnerwait and Maulboyheenner.
However, plans for the
Temporary Market Pavilion seem to indicate a much bigger area (see picture).
That might just be a labelling issue but, if not, what are the implications for
a “Cultural Heritage Exclusion Zone” of that size?
