The City of Melbourne is offering post Christmas promotional opportunities to city retailers. Following are the details. Please note that expressions of interest close tomorrow - 7th November.
We are
seeking contributions from businesses that have an event, attraction, product,
service or offer exclusive to the City of Melbourne municipality from 12
January to 28 February 2017.
By
promoting fun and interesting experiences happening in the city, we aim to
increase visitation to the city through a wide reaching advertising campaign,
incorporating outdoor, radio, print, online and social media.
We’re
looking for:
o
Interesting outdoor spaces:
alfresco, rooftop, temporary or pop-up
o
Hospitality: special
summer menus, drinks or desserts
o
Retail: summer
markets, beauty or food products
o
Tours and experiences: tour
operator or local attraction with a summer program or schedule
o
Events: being
held across the municipality in January or February 2017
By
completing a quick expression of interest (EOI), your information could be used
in our promotions*, including:
o
Social media activities on Facebook (254,000 likes), Twitter (212,000 followers) and Instagram (29,000 followers)
o
Weekly enewsletter (32,000
subscribers)
o
What’s On website and social hub (14,000
daily visitors)
o
What’s On blog (50,000 visitors per month)
o
Promotional videos
o
Radio and digital advertising
