The word “Market” is
obviously a very desirable connection for retailers with Coles now opening a “Liquor
Market” as it competes with the likes of Dan Murphy’s and Aldi.
Coles is looking to sell a
modest range of liquor with an emphasis on low prices from its new outlet.
Cheap is the name of the game with Coles now familiar yellow and black colour
combination adopted as the colour scheme in a cost cutting exercise that they
say will translate to lower liquor prices.
Liquor Market will undercut
Coles other drinks outlet, Liquorland, and compete directly with Woolworth’s
Dan Murphy brand and Aldi.
