Union Reacts To Victraders Criticism

This week we posted about the irresponsibility of trade unions conducting rolling strikes in the airline industry over school holidays which would have a direct impact on our most important source of customers - tourism. (http://www.victraders.com/2011/07/unions-threaten-our-trading.html )
The union representing aircraft engineers has decided to cancel its strike action and although we would like to claim some credit the real reason is that the grounding of Tiger Airlines aircraft will place such a strain on the rest of the industry the union decided not to add to the problems of travellers. We applaud their responsibility but point out that any future action would work against QVM traders.
