Creswick Woollen Mills Joins QVM

Creswick Woollen Mills are new tenants in Therry St. but their association with the market goes back to the days when the grandchildren of the original founders worked at QVM.

· ‘’My sister Sharon and I always had the entrepreneurial drive. As children some of my fondest memories was spending weekends selling t-shirts at our parent’s market stall. We are looking forward to once again being part of the market community, bringing our iconic family owned and operated business to the market’s customers“

Creswick Woollen Mills is an Australian family company that was founded in 1947. The mill is located in Creswick between Daylesford and Ballarat, just over one hour from Melbourne. Creswick is famous for Australian made products sold around the world and luxurious, natural fibre products designed in Australia. Its seven Victorian stores, website & mail order catalogue specialise in knitwear, homewares & accessories. Creswick Woollen Mills is now run by the founder’s grandchildren, a brother & sister partnership, Boaz & Sharon Herszfeld.

A grand opening will be held at the Therry St. store this Thursday 28th January and traders are invited to pop in. The store will be open from 9-5pm with the official opening from 3-5.
