Remember the name QVM Traders Inc. because it will
become a significant element for traders particularly as we move forward with
renewal at QVM.
The association was incorporated earlier this year to
represent all trader groups at the Queen Victoria Market. It is currently in
caretaker mode with our QVMAC Representatives on the Management Committee and
plans for a full election later this year. Traders will be invited to join the
association over coming weeks.
The registered purposes of the association are as follows –
“To support market
traders at Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market as they maximise their business
interests and potential. To encourage the development of the Queen Victoria
Market as one of the world’s premier public retail markets through its service
to local, regional, interstate and international residents and visitors.”
