No names,
no pack drill, but this trader exemplifies the claim that we breed them tough
at the Queen Victoria Market.
Apparently
our trader had an accident at home which left him with a sore leg. He ignored
the pain for about one week, continuing to perform his normal duties, before
finally deciding to visit the doctor for x-rays.
The x-ray
revealed a broken bone which required an operation including a steel plate and
two screws. Two days later he was back behind the counter at QVM with a foot
cast and a new appreciation for the merits of seeking an early medical
diagnosis following injury.
Now that
is Commitment with a capital "C".
